I wanna join in, I wanna join in

But I only started hill and mountain walking proper in 2004 when I was 56.

And my first UK summit was not until 2008, (I started in the Bavarian Alps). And I am British and live here.

Here I am on the left. On the summit of Snowdon with dadndave. August 18th 2008, my first UK summit. Lolli took the photo, :D . Been up there nine times since, seven of those times in winter. :D

1990 in the Lodgepole vicinity just before I tried to hike to my first mountain, Alta Peak. Tried to climb it in this outfit. First of 4 years of failures to reach any summit.

Finished of that series of disappointments in 1994, half a world away on Großer Daumen, Allgäu Alps
