Same problem here on loading pics for an M&R. Reduce the pic size, re-submit, sit there a few seconds and AAWWHH!!, not again! It's a disappointing crap shoot every other time! I don't get the red x of death, I get: insert_column_ data failed: DB Error: no database selected

Yeah - I had this problem last night when I was working on a page. It was weird because it would only happen about 1 out of 10 times, but the rest of the time it worked great...

I assume you are saying "I have verified this is an SP side issue and will have our people look into it".

Sort of. I didn't verify the problem and Matt was unable to initially recreate it himself. He's been busy the last few days on more pressing problems (aka, a real job) but believes he has enough info from the last few posts to work on it.

Matt, whatever you did appears to have done the trick. YOU ARE THE MAN! I'm very thankful.

Don't think the problem is solved. I wave been trying to upload pics to the Corno alle Scale page. 13 pics worked fine but now the last two won't load in any way.

http://www.summitpost.org/create_object.php comes up blank or with

"get_image_file() failed: DB Error: no database selected"

and afterwards I find the empty pages on my profile. I'm using Firefox 3.6

there seems to be an issue with existing photos as well right now.

+1 Just tried through 2 different approaches with a mid-sized pano; one (from the create new object dialog) just hung, and the other (attach new image to existing object) immediately reported an error and dumped me into the "create new object" dialog.

Maybe the new server is just busy a lot.
