I just used mine...got the Trango S Evo boots for under $200 thanks to the dividend and the 20% coupon.

Got mine today as well. Between my dividend, the 20% discount and free shipping, I got a Marmot Eiger 40XT pack for just ten bucks! :D

In response to my wife's question about why I need another backpack, I just said; for the same reason you need so many shoes

Sweet, I got a little over $300 this year.....although I guess that means I spent nearly 30k on my REI Visa this past year since I didn't buy much from the store

I believe that this was my smallest REI dividend in several years now. :(

I think next year's will be smaller though.

The smaller the dividend the closer you are to achieving gear bliss. It is a sign of progress, my friend!

Same here Squishy. I'm looking at $59.11. I wasn't expecting that much and I have NO IDEA what I bought to justify it. Not that it matters at this point anyway.
With the 20% coupon, I can get a #3 cam free & clear.

squishy wrote:So if you go to REI.com and buy something (log in and purchase an item). Goto the check out screen and it displays your current dividend amount toward the bottom, even though you have not received it in the mail yet. You can spend it online now if you wish...mine was 60 bucks this year, not bad...

Not mention there's a 20% off for members...

"As of 3/15/2010, your dividend balance is $97.60". Cool, but I live in Europe now. Don't think that will give me much to buy with those high shipping costs...

$240

I'm interested to get the info in the mail and see the breakdown of how much was REI and how much was REI visa. Either way, I'm going to enjoy my new pack.

My goal at REI is to get everything on super sale. Those don't pay a dividend. One year I spent over $1000 and had no dividend at all. My best year ever.

Now with my daughter, most of the time when she needs something I don't have time to wait for a sale!
