Meteor in northern Illinois

Hundreds of people reported a meteor streaking across the sky in northern Illinois & southern Wisc last night. There's a video clip in the link below.

that pretty cool!! I don't know if I saw this thing but last night I was outside at a friends house when I thought I saw lightning. I didn't see the fire ball as the video shows but, to the north I saw white flashes then it was gone. I think it was aliens!!!!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!!

hahaha I finished that stuff in CO. I just read in the paper that a guy is claiming it hit his house. They said in the paper it was the size of a peanut when it hit his roof.
