Thanks for sharing, DMT! I'm excited to get my canoe out too. I'm not sure if our two daughters (3yo and 5yo) share my enthusiasm, but they're getting in regardless! They have thought it was pretty cool when we came up on ducks, turtles, etc in the past.

Looks like a sweet outing. I used to teach at Walnut Grove Elementary and spent time after school walking and running along some of those levees. The Delta area can seem very removed from what most people think of as "California."
