My wife climbed it from the west yesterday wearing trail runners. The only snow she encountered was a small packed trail near the summit. The trail from Church Fork is even drier.

Unfortunately, yet another big storm is predicted for tonight through Thursday morning. So, I'd pack those gaiters. However, being somewhat low in elevation, hopefully the top will only see a few new inches. So many people do this peak though that the snow shouldn't be much of an issue.

The high / low temp forecast for Salt Lake valley for the next 3 days looks like this:

Wed: 52/39
Thu: 58/37
Fri: 63/40

This webcam looks up Grandeur Peak from the west.
