We live on 5 acres (I wish it was 5,000!!!) of Ponderosa Pine forest and wildflowers on the Palmer Divide at about 7,600 feet / 2,300 meters above sea level.

I love that area, o how I miss the front range

Moved apartment a couple of months ago - this was the view out of the living room window when we first went to see the new apartment at the end of Feb and were quite taken with it. View onto the Massif des Bornes. It looks a bit different now and as it turns out the neighbours are a nightmare......next step, find a house with NO neighbours. At least the view ain't bad, even if I haven't seen it in a week. The weather is bound to change some day soon.

Much better is the view on a clear day from a spot no more than 300metres from our new place..

Taken a couple of miles from where I grew up (grew up physically, not mentally!)

This was the view from my old job at the climbing store:

I live 15 minutes from there, but on the other side of a divide so I can't see it from my house. I don't have any online photos from my deck, but this one was taken in my yard: Image

Does two young deer escorting me up this drive tonight count as a view?

All these are either right out my front yard or no more than 10 minutes from it.

Kind of sucks eh?

A little bragadocious is it not? :)
