Sad that Little Bear claimed such a young life. RIP, young man.

This short documentary was posted in the "Comments" section of the Gazette story on this event: http://exposureroom.com/members/Reflect ... 56be79570/

[Edit for clarity: This documentary about the young man involved in the accident was posted to the Gazette coverage of the Little Bear incident.]

I saw that too Sarah - seems that Kevin was an outstanding guy.

I'm almost positive I met Kevin and his partner on Blanca the day before (even took a summit shot borrowing his Which Wich bag), and traversed to Ellingwood with them. I thought Little Bear would be tough for them, and mentioned that it was stiff 4th class, but assumed they would manage. What a shame.

EDIT: Yep, that was him. Tragic.

Very sad. Thoughts go out to his friends and family. Anyone found an update on the helicopter team?

This is tragic, and is extremely sad news. I hope his family takes solace in the fact that this gentleman was doing what he loved when he passed from this world, and that his faith and life here will carry and sustain him forever. Peace be to this gentleman, and to his brave partner who made a gut wrenching decision to go for help.
