Devils path Eastern peaks traverse

by Catskillhiker » Sun Aug 22, 2010 8:24 pm

Im planning a traverse Saturday of platteu, sugerloaf, twin and Indian head

i know how hard the devils path is in this area, and am wondering, if i cant get 2 cars to one way the range, is their a better trail head to start at to in and out the range? i know starting from stony clove you have a 20 mile day on your hands, and im hoping theirs a way to make this track a bit easyer (less elevation gain/loss between peaks)

otherwise i will end up leaving out Indian or plateau)

thanks
