Too bad the size selection blows.

I got a Frontpoint jacket ($69+-) and its Awesome, size Large Long, I am 6'-2" about 190 and it fits perfectly. Sleeves are a tad long, they should fit someone up to 6'-4" - 6'-6", but overall good fit.

I got the jacket mainly as a winter shell but recently tested briefly it during hurricane Earl (Caribbean) just for kicks and its waterproof and windproof. It breathes well since its a combination of hard/soft shell.

I also got the Igniter Jacket ($110) in size Large regular and fits perfectly. Combined with baselayer, powerstretch fleece and shell its good down to 15-0F easy even when activity is low. I used it in 25 deg., windy/snowy weather while snowshoeing and walking on a farm in somewhat level terrain and was warm with powerstretch fleece and baselayer only (no shell) in fact I had to open the front zip at times. The hood makes it warmer!

I got the DOWNLIGHT® SWEATER JACKET XL - L for less then $60 total. I'll probably be able to sell my current down jacket on eBay for that much.

Thanks for the heads-up.

The prices are also good in-store. The item selection was the same, and the color selection was mostly the same. There were different sizes available though. I somehow lucked into a tall-sized Igniter jacket.

I read this thread, jumped on my longboard and skated down to our local eddie bauer. Picked up two downlight sweaters and a tahoma daypack for my roommate, all for $75.

Freakin' sweet

Tried to go to the local Eddie Bauer here in Rancho Cucamonga and found out that their store does not carry the First Ascent Line. I have not been that disappointed in awhile. I was looking forward to buying some new goodies on the cheap.

Just got it today. The cut is bit funky, but a great light puffy for $40.
