If you're planning to descend the rock route after climbing Clyde Minaret, be aware that there is (as of 9/2) still patchy snow on the upper face and in the chute, which spices things up a bit. It might be a good idea to allow extra time and/or plan on rapping parts.
Also, there's a full 60-meter rope hanging from a gap north of South Notch onto the snow-field, with a figure-eight knot and an old carabiner at the end . My guess is that someone was coming home late, and the snow was hard. Their pair of ropes didn't get them far enough down the snow, and they had to leave one and rap off its end.
