RJ Secor Contact Info

by Dave Daly » Fri Sep 10, 2010 9:30 pm

Anyone have an email address, phone number etc for RJ?

I thought he had a website set up for corrections, additions, lies, tale tales etc for the High Sierra Guide book. All you had to do was submit that information and he'd verify when the next edition was prepping to be published.

Pray tell!

Dave...

According to RJ, there will be no more future editions. That is what he told both Brutus and I the year before last when we were going to submit our beta/topo for "White Peregrines."

Let us know if he has since changed his mind.

Wonder if he'd allow someone else to pick up the reins for a 4th edition.

I can think of a recently retired mountain goat who'd be perfect :)

BTW does anyone know how RJ is doing these days since his nasty accident on Baldy a few years back? Is he still bagging in the Sierra?

didn't realize it was supposed to be a final edition.

It probably will need to be broken up into Norderners and Suddeners for the next go.

Tons of climbing being done.

Why does there have to be a "next one"?

What is with this need to have everything in some GB?

Can't somethings just be kept... quiet?

The only reason for another edition would be to correct some of the little mistakes on some of the more obscure peaks.

I'm also curious if anyone knows how RJ is doing these days. Has he pretty much fully recovered or ?

I'm told he hasn't been the same since the accident, mostly stays around homes and walks to the park. No more bagging.
