In order to do so appropriately, one/you must mix it up with a good three to five time a day hard ass dose of Meth.... that is, in order to blow up the living shit outta your heart.

Dude, why do you post these most absurd threads... Are you mixing up doses of heroin and Barbi's on a regular basis?

That is one big ass excuse to take drugs.

There are many homeopathic therapies out there to assist you for your issue.

Society dictates you need to take Ritalin and that is complete prehistoric bullshit!

As a personal anecdote I have been diagnosed with ADHD. My first grade teacher told my mother I was hyperactive. I think this jives with George Carlin's hypothesis that names for mental illness get longer as time goes by. (In WWII it was called 'Shell Shock' now its called 'Post Traumatic Stress Disoder'. Anybody remember that comedy routine?). Anyhoo, I struggled throughout school but excelled in pysically demanding jobs such as construction and in physically demanding sports like ultramarthoning and alpine climbing. Some where along the way I landed in a desk job and tried every type of ADHD drug, all had side effects worse that the ADHD. I compensated for the ADHD by lifting weights for an hour before work and running a quick 8 miles on my lunch hour. Only then, and just barely, could I stay seated for those two, four hour stints. And it sucked.

I have known athletes who were on ritalin and never suffered any life threatening side affects. I would venture to guess that only an OD or unnaturally intense physical activity could do anything horrible.

Well, you can start by running or riding your bike to and from work, every day, regardless the weather.

Then, get up an hour earlier first thing in the morning, get off your ass and workout for an hour prior to and then after work.

Be creative and stop making excuses why you can not work out.

Put that extra energy to work/positive use and do not suppress it with drugs.

most of the adhd drugs are vasoconstrictors; therefore, you could have an increased possibility of developing hape. not much in the climbing literature about it, but some folks are starting to look at it.
