Mt McLoughlin Snow Conditions ????

by killingcokes » Sun Jul 31, 2011 6:39 am

Heading that way from Colorado next week and I was wondering if there was any snow on the Northeast Face. Would stopping be worth it or should I just head to South Sister or Hood. Any recent pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the beta

I was at Four Mile Lake today and the parking lot at the Trailhead had about 10 cars. It looked like most of the ridgeline was clear but could still possibly have snow sections. Sorry I didn't hike it but it looked quite enticing.

Thanks
Specifically what I'm wondering is whether the face has enough snow for skiing.
