NYT plays catch up, tries to appeal to wild & crazy crowd

Have you heard? You no longer need a mountain to climb!

What I want to know is, why did the the reporter have to go to Norway for this story?

Maybe the reporter just wanted to go to Norway, and the editor was too uninformed to know that you could boulder in NY.

If the editor is from Manhattan, s/he may never have crossed the Hudson.

I thought the article was cute. Bouldering will always be the golf of climbing though.
