Maroon Bells - Overnight Parking

by pappabroome » Fri Jul 22, 2011 4:04 pm

Hey Everyone,

We will be hiking Four Pass Loop starting on August 1st and we are planning on getting to the trailhead around 6:00 AM. Has anyone had any issues with parking on a monday morning? Would hate to get all the way out there and find out the parking lot is full and then we would have to drive back to Aspen to take the bus.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Patrick

Sorry that this won't give you a heads up Patrick, but in case anyone else was wondering... I've been to the overnight lot at Maroon Lake a number of times and I've never seen it all that terribly full. However, you never know when everyone and their dogs might up and decide to go on an overnight trip in the area and fill it up. ;)

:D I've been wondering about the parking situation as well. I'll be hiking the 4 pass loop starting on Labor day and am planning to get to the parking area early, 6-7am.
