We will be down in Chalten, Calfate, and other parts of Argentina for several weeks around Christmas and looking to do some climbing. The main objective of our trip is just leisure and some wine touring, but I can't pass up the opportunity to do a little climbing while there. My wife and I are both competent climbers and can lead on rock and ice, but we don't want to bring much gear nor deal with any logistics (we plan to be in full vacation mode). Can anyone recommend any guides down there that we can hire for a couple days of private climbing, preferably day trips or an overnight? Everything I have been finding online just mentions intro courses or glacier hikes. Also are any willing to let their clients lead some of the pitches/climbs?
