Missouri from the west

by Bryan W » Sun Oct 02, 2011 7:24 pm

I'm just wondering if anybody has any beta on conditions in the high country near Missouri? Is there any snow up high as of yet? I'd suspect Clear Creek would be pretty low this time of the year, but again I would rather hear that from somebody in the know. Any help would be appreciated.

Anybody interested in a hike up Missouri on Tuesday, Shavano/Tab Wednesday, or Bierstadt Thursday?

Definitely no fresh snow in the Sawatch in the last 2-weeks. Been multiple days in the 80s at 8000 feet. Clear Creek will be at its summer low but far from dry, all the mountain streams have had good flow all summer.

Have a great trip, the aspen are the best in years, Clear Creek is always one of the best for aspen.
