Nice job on the Sperry Peak page. That is one peak I've been meaning to climb in the winter.

As a suggestion when you are updating these pages and whatnot, you may want to add or update info and what kind of pass you need for parking at the trailhead. For instance, your Mt. Pilchuck page states the Discovery pass is needed at the trailhead, but right below that it makes it seem like you can use a NW Forest Pass... which I believe would result in a $99 ticket for your trouble.

As a general rule I'm going to start calling the appropriate ranger station to find out current info, but this may help some people out.

It seems at first blush that Discovery Passes are for State held lands (Tiger Mt, Mt Si, Little Si) whereas the NW Forest Pass was always for federal (Forest Service) lands). Am I wrong on this?

That seems to be the main point, but I am just paranoid that the state might possible buy either land or rights to land that was previously held by the FS... I personally will be keeping an eye an this in the upcoming "in" season, and see if more stuff out on the Mountain Loop and other areas may be changing over. This may impact my choice of yearly pass i guess, but I think last year's is until June so that's a while to decide.

I doubt that. The state doesn't have the funds to maintain the lands they have now so I have a hard time seeing them aquiring new lands. A couple of years ago the State tried to do a $5 dollar a day fee (maybe it was $2) which they quickly revoked due to decline in park attendance. The Discover Pass seems like a retread of the same idea although involving somewhat different venues.

I recently noticed that one of my favorite list pages was in the adoption folder. 100 Highest Peaks in North America. The original owner Fletch did a wonderful job putting the list together but I thought I could improve it by removing the Central America and Hawaii peaks. To my pleasant surprise this made room at the bottom for a couple of other peaks which included Mount Robson and Mount Moffit.

I also thought the page would be more attractive if it included a few pictures and also a thumbnail image for each mountain on the list. Whenever possible I used photos from SP and included links to the selected image but otherwise I used outside sources for photographs. For the most part I had trouble with the St. Elias Range mountains as they are greatly underrepresented here on SP and there are very few pictures available. There were two peaks, Walsh and Strickland, for which I could not find an image anywhere on the internet. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me where to find those photos.

To my best knowledge, this list has never been completed by any climber. But it is likely that Gerry Roach came the closest, somewhere in the neighborhood of 70%. My personal count is 9% complete with one failed attempt on Iztaccihuatl. Since there is no forum section strictly for North America, I will post this thread in a couple different places.
