The black bear that was tranquilized by police, famously fell out of that tree, and relocated last week was hit by a car and killed yesterday. Bummer.

One way or the other it was going to die. Had it shown up in town again, DOW would have put it down. Critters only get one free relocate, then its lead poisoning.

Yup, stuff dies sometimes. Sad that if this was a mountain lion people would be screaming KILL IT, KILL IT NOW and it would be relocated in a hole. Lucky bear, I guess
