Nice! I sampled a few of your routes on Crack of Noon Buttress, how do these compare in quality to the 10b sport climb and .9 mixed route to the right of those? (mostly concerned with quality relative to those three, which are all stellar).

Right in the same ballpark IMO, WML.

Both Kent and I spend a reasonable amount of time researching the rock and potential aestheticness of the potential line prior to putting them up. In other words, we have been eyeing these lines for a while now. TR'd em several times before committing to drilling and placing the bolts/anchors. Both are very committing and challenging with the cruxes at the upper last portion of the route. Both have a building of crescendo to the crux and then finish. We have had two different old timers on both and they gave us a double thumbs up for bolt placements and over all quality.

BTW, thanks for the positive feedback on the other routes. Glad you enjoyed em.

Ya, thanks for putting them up. Unbelievable a buttress THAT close to the wall requiring no cleaning (regarding Crack of Noon, per Kent) was ripe for the pickin'. Well protected cruxes on these as well? Will be in Bishop on Saturday for a job examination with the county, so have been trolling for partners to check some things out.

Be advised that PSOM Gizzards still needs some residual flake cleaning along the line. But, for the most part, the obvious line is pretty well cleaned and good to go.

I think Kent and I will be at it again this upcoming Sunday. Look him up at Wilson's and confirm that. I have no qualms if you want to tag along with us for the day.
