Dave- Sheridan first or second doesn't really make a difference to me, I guess we can figure it out Saturday based on if anyone else wants to head over that way or not.

Sheridan is pretty easy to combine with Sherman for those interested. It's what we did last time (though I never did finish the whole TR):

We're staying at the Hand in Fairplay Fri - Sunday night so we are in for both days. Just tell me where we need to be Saturday morning and we'll be there. The weather forcast looks good!

If anyone wants to swap cell phone numbers PM me. I have sprint so I usually don't have data access in the mountains which means SP will not be an option for any updates.

I'm definitely in for Sheridan...I've done Sherman already, so I'd rather head up Sheridan first, and then probably bail back down to the car, but if the group is going to Sherman first, that's no problem.

Looks like a manageable crowd. This should be a lot of fun.

Anyway, I'm planning on driving as far up the road as I can. Different vehicles may have to stop different places.

A 7 am start should be adequate, but if we (my son and I) are awake, we may head up the mountain a little early to get a jump start and to make sure that we don't slow anyone down.

I'll be driving the silver Pathfinder with the "I love my wife" bumper sticker, so should be easy to find.

It will be great to meet everyone (again) and the weather forecast looks great.

I'm out. My whole family has a bad case of influenza. I've been horribly sick this whole week.

I'm in for sure. I'll be at Leavick Friday night. Red Jeep, CA plates, can't miss it. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I'll be leaving Craig around 3 pm. I'll see you all up there! The weather forecast still looks excellent.

I plan on leaving Frisco at 545 tomorrow morning. Will be driving a white Hyundai Santa Fe. I'll try to drive as far up the road as reasonable or until I see other people. See everyone tomorrow. :)

PS- TR posted on 14ers.com has some pics of the area: http://14ers.com/php14ers/peakstatus_entry.php?recnum=2025

The fist pic shows Sheridan's upper slope and the saddle. Will bring the snowshoes but hoping to keep them in the car.

A quick note about Sunday...

I've received several "maybes" but no "definites" for Sunday's hike of North Twin Cone. If you are definitely "in" for Sunday's note, please either post that confirmation here or PM me. I'm a practical type, and can guarantee you I won't be at a trailhead at 6:50 AM waiting for a bunch of maybes. :)

I will have internet service this weekend but no / limited / unreliable cell phone, so the best way to reach me is through SP. I plan to haunt Fairplay Saturday night, probably some combination of get-togethers a private cabins and either Brown Burro Cafe or Fairplay Valiton pub/saloon.

Cheers,
Sarah
