Thank you, that seemed to work. Interesting that that forum was the only one affected.

Matt,

I'm not sure if you read the Elf Inbox or not, but here part of one of the latest messages:

There is a glitch in the website, for the past 3/4? month I have been getting email notifications everytime what seems to be ANY forum is updated and I can't make it stop. I click on the hyperlink and it just takes me to my profile page.

Thankyou,

mountainanchor

I sent you a pm giving you details about how to potentially fix this and/or questions to give us clues on addressing this issue. Perhaps your subscribed to threads as well?

The banner ad for GRID2 is causing problems with my iPAD. The ad covers the bottom of the screen. When you click to close it, it kicks you out of the message forum! This happens every time consistently...

Now I can't log in at all from my iPAD. Tried clearing the cookies. Tried changing my password (from a PC). I logged in and out successfully from my PC but I still can't sign in from my iPAD. It says "invalid user name or password". Any suggestions?

No idea....CAPS LOCK?

No, that's not it. Does the system lock out IP addresses if too many login attempts fail?

I don't own a Ipad, but is there another browser you can test besides Safari? I've noticed a relationship between problems and people who use Safari. In other words, Safari doesn't work as well with SP's login from what I've gathered.

On your PC could you install the browser Safari and see if you have this issue still? This would help us figure out if it's a browser issue or a operating system issue. (hate to make you do this, but it would help us out with figuring out this mystery)

You're right. It is a Safari problem. I installed Chrome and was able to log in.

I'm not sure what the problem with Safari is. I've logged out/in many times in the past. I updated the IOS recently and that's probably the culprit. I do have cookies enabled. I tried clearing the cookies but that didn't help. It still doesn't work but since I can log in with Chrome, I won't worry about it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try loading Safari on my PC when I get a few minutes and let you know what I find.

Glad to hear! :D I wasn't certain, but the evidence I've seen pointed me in that direction. So this is most likely one of two issues:

1. The Upgrade from SP V2 to V3 was enough change to break stuff with Safari
2. Safari had some update which made it incompatible with SP's login.

Thanks for the report. Now we know for sure what browser is raising all this fuss.

Adding an album to an area range page

by Noondueler » Sun Mar 31, 2013 8:16 pm

I typed in the exact title of the album (A hike from the studio) in Marin County Mountains Ridges and Hills and it found no matches! So I just typed in what I thought to be one key word, studio, and the match came up! This has been the case for several months when adding pages to others.

Matt-

A member found a small bug... it seems that there is no delete option for page owners to delete the additions and corrections that appear on the main page above the images section. The owners can still delete them by clicking on the link to access them on the separate page, however. But some folks will likely not be aware of that. Just need to add the delete option for the page owners when viewing the comments on the main page. Have to use a regular member account to test it.
