FS: Sleeping Bags

by divnamite » Wed Mar 13, 2013 9:14 pm

No longer doing expeditions, so getting rid of the bags for some other gears. All of them are regular size. I'm 5'9 and fit in them all well, with enough room at the bottom for hot water bottle, etc.. Price negotiable.

1. Feathered Friends Snow Goose (-40) bag. Got it about four years ago before they changed the fabric. Used on Denali, bomber sleeping bag. $450 shipped.
2. Montbell Exp (-20) bag. Got it for Aconcagua. $300 shipped. One of my favorite bags because it stretches.
3. Marmot Couloir (0) bag. One of the true 0 degree bags. Used on Rainier, winter in NorthEast and two weeks in Alaskan range. $250 shipped.
4. Mountain Hardwear Chugach pants (large). $75 shipped.

If you buy any of the bags, I'll toss in a pair of brand new with tag Patagonia Capilene 1 long john (men's medium) free.

Tell me more about the Feathered Friends? Does this have the waterproof Pertex outer Shield? I don't know if I plan on having a trip anytime soon that would require this bag but I'm somewhat of an opportunist.

Thanks,

Travis

It's EPIC fabric, not the pertex model. I'm pretty sure it's waterproof.

Regular, black with Epic shell. Unbelievable warmth.

I am thinking about the Montbell Exp (-20) bag. How many uses or how good of shape is it in?

Would you do $350 shipped for the feathered friends and the longjohn?
