Tragedy in BC

by brichardsson » Tue May 14, 2013 10:29 pm

i find it hard to understand why an "experienced outdoorsman" would pitch a tent at the bottom of a large rock face. named "wind lip". in the middle of spring avalanche conditions. :?

My brother once made us switch plans from going to camp Hazard because of it's name. It turns out the camp was named after Steven Hazard. My point being that you can't always judge a route/feature by it's name. I've camped on Forbidden Peak.

How horrible that must have been. Sad news indeed.
