Pages Up for Adoption

by Bob Sihler » Tue Jul 02, 2013 9:22 pm

I am putting up some pages for adoption. Please PM me or respond here if you are interested.

Mountain/Rock--

http://www.summitpost.org/maryland-heights/152472 This was not mine to begin with, and I have updated it a little but have no real interest in doing much with it anytime soon. Someone experienced with the technical climbs here might be able to do a really nice job.

http://www.summitpost.org/sand-dunes-on-sp/276827 needs some updates I can help point to.
http://www.summitpost.org/badlands-areas/228918 someone could do a lot with this one by adding active, organized links to the main page.

Albums-- Again, just not interested in doing anything with these anymore, including attaching new items even of my own.

http://www.summitpost.org/desert-tanks/514704
http://www.summitpost.org/bonneville-salt-flats/399769 could probably be turned into a good area page.

not sure where to put this...
how does one go about adopting a page that isn't up for adoption?
there are some local climbing areas that I'd like to take over. 2 members that currently own them have not logged in in minimum 1 year (one of them 3 years).
is this possible? or would I need to contact them myself first?

PM the elves. We evaluate each individual case. If the page is pretty good but the member is gone for a year we might propose contacting the owner. However if the page falls below SP standards, then you are very likely to own the page.
