One minor feature suggestion:

If it's not too complicated, it would be interesting to be able to arrange the mountains under the advanced tab by number of summit logs. It would be interesting to say compare the most popular mountains in Colorado or California.

Also, responses to summit logs shouldn't count in the number of summit logs (they do now).

These are really minor suggestions though and there are more pressing issues, but I thought it might be of interest.

Two other suggestions, and I apologize if these were covered in Josh's really long post and I just missed them:

1. Currently, when you use the new editor's WYSIWYG feature, the Table of Contents does not show. It would be helpful if it did because it can affect page presentation when inserting photos.

2. In another thread, someone suggested (might actually have been Josh) that it might be better for the title of a photo to show in the captions section on the main page rather than the full caption. As some have pointed out, there sometimes are tedious editing and spacing issues resulting from the default display of the full caption, especially in cases where people have a lot of text in the caption for informative purposes. On most trip reports and beta pages, seeing the title with the photo would probably be more than adequate for both the writer and the reader since the caption information is likely repeated somewhere else on the page, especially for a trip report or route.

Your absolutely right on this. Now the problem is that the TOC is build from the page headers. So if new headers where placed in, I suppose it may be difficult to code it to update when a header is inserted (considering that the headers are server side, in other words they are directly made from the site software and not the users browser). I suppose that the insert header button could call to update the TOC via PHP. But if headers are manually placed in, I'd imagine that they wouldn't be inserted. Unless something really fancy was coded to detect new headers placed in. Overall I believe this would be nice to resolve.

I been saying this for over two years now. With the new editor it may actually be easier to implement this. I find myself using the old editor because of this very issue. When I go to remove out the entire description of an image (it seems silly to have that on every photo caption in a page) it removes the photo too! As a result this completely destroys most of my desire for using the new editor. I do however use it for resizing and creating larger images.

I might be able to get someone to help with this, if it did come in, it would be later. I currently don't own a cell phone that has internet (as of recently I finally got a really cheap phone). As a result anything that I cannot test is very likely to be buggy. Maybe when I'm rich I can buy a good cell phone which is a ways off (years). As it is I cannot afford to go mountain climbing. The good news is that I can take 4 buses to the mountains if I really feel the urge. SP work however is keeping me busy (plus school).

Regarding urgent changes, an image panel is on the way. Here is a demo. Other changes include the possibility of a quick multi uploader, new private message system, new template, and many other changes. Preferences is another big one that I would like.
