I am interested in completing a ski traverse in europe this spring. I have not decided where yet Pyrenees, Alps. I wondered if it was necessary to book the huts in advance or it was possible to be spontaneous and have a good chance of getting a bed if you just turn up. There would be 2 or 3 of us.
