BC Ski routes near Georgetown?

by everclimb » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:50 pm

I'm renting a place up in Georgetown for the winter and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good lines nearby? Of course, I'll be hitting up Berthoud pass plenty, but I'll be working from home up there during the week and thought it would be nice to be able to get an early morning run in before starting work :D

You could poke around James Peak and the slopes southeast of the peak, and see if there's anything to your liking - and of course, St. Mary's glacier. Loveland pass has some stuff, too. Or just skin up A-Bay or LL once they start allowing it.

Hey,

I am interested in exploring mellow ski options in Georgetown and have studied the maps some. If you need a partner for such things, let me know.

I'm 40 years old, avy trained, well equipped, and am a conservative team oriented partner.

Talk with you later,

Jim in Frisco warlickone@hotmail.com
