How to fix cut on Spantik?

by andrejas » Sun Aug 03, 2014 8:18 pm

Hi all,

I have a little cut on one of my Spantiks. Can anyone recommend a good way to fix it? I thought about using a glue gun, but my mates urged me to search for a suggestion online.

Any recommendation would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Andreas.

actually, I've found the hot glue gun to work pretty well! just spread it thin and far over-coat. earlier uses of epoxy became too brittle and flaked off after a year or so

Thanks for your responses. I actually got this cut in a tyre service garage after training on a ski slope and keeping them on longer than necessary...

Glue gun it is!

I have several cuts like that on mine. Has not hurt performance at all. Love these boots and they have served me well on many cold mountains including Denali (twice) and Vinson.
