Great stuff! I know it takes a different breed to attempt these types of peaks and especially at his age. But when people come onto this website and ask the question, "Am I too old to........". Answer is NO.

Very happy for Carlos! I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of sharing a base camp meal tent with him on Ama Dablam last year. He was a very nice and humble guy. I'll be strongly rooting for him to get his last two 8,000m peaks (Dhaulagiri & Shishapangma). Definitely an inspiration for what you can do in your golden years! Viva Carlos!

Absolutely wonderful news. When one is healthy a lot of things are possible even later in life. This indeed answers the "Am I too old" question. I hope he gets the last two.
