Climbing in norway

by Cecile » Sun Jul 12, 2015 3:14 pm

Hi !

I am heading to norway soon, and i would like to climb there. I'll arrive in Kristiansand, and then i'll go up the coast. My plan is not made, i am studying the climbing and hiking opportunitities. I think i'll arrive around the 20th of july, and i'll stay as long as i enjoy it.

If you are somewhere in norway, looking for climbing partners, please contact me !! :-)

Cecilie, if you are on facebook, try search up the group "Happy Climbers" mainly for climbers in the Oslo-region but you might get lucky and find someone to climb with all over the country.

Hi Anna, I will be heading to Norway for bouldering in the next weeks and also planned to visit Lofoten. When will you be up there and what kind of climbing are you interested in?

Anybody else in Norway looking for a climbing mate in June? Sports climbing up to 6c, trad or alpine way less...

Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin,

I am heading to Norway next week, and have a week to climb - from 21-29 June. I would love to go to Lofoten, but not sure I will go that far north unless I know other climbing partners would be around then. Am also happy to go somewhere else. I would probably mostly be interested in sport as I am not carrying a lot of gear with me. My grades would be similar to yours.

Let me know if you will be around.

Hi,

I am in Oslo on the 21st and then could go anywhere from there, so that could work.
Haven't figured out exactly where it is yet, but could have a look.

Cheers, Kate

Hi Kate,

just to let you know, I won't go to Flatanger because I went bouldering at Harbak instead and I still have to visit a couple of other good boulder spots before I leave Norway on the weekend. However, if you still don't have a climbing partner for Norway pay a visit to Flatanger, lots people will be there at the Klatrefestival.

Bye
Martin
