Salome Canyon

I am hoping to go up to Salome Canyon this year and was wondering of anyone lnows the best time of year I was hoping for end of may early june but most of my party does not have wetsuits. Would later in the year after monsoons say septmeber be better due to water temps?

Just did it today. End of May would be perfect. You wanna hit it while there is still water flowing through otherwise it gets all slimy and gross. September would be a bad time because of the stagnant water (unless it after a heavy monsoon season. When we went today the high was 82 and we didn't need wetsuits (we had them anyways. Other folks didn't). I hope that helps
