sign in brings me to my home page.
I can't really sign in and I think this has happened before, forgot the issue.

Probably an issue with the cookies. Delete them and you should be fine.

I ran into the same sort of problem a while back. You may have to go to "delete browsing history" and uncheck "preserve favorites website data." Also, you don't want to be on SummitPost when you delete the cookies.
