No freaking way! I had no idea there was even any precipitation forecast. I need to get out of my office and look at the sky more often.

Oh, wow! I actually got rained on on my ride home last night but didn't realize there would be any measurable precip.

Snow on San Jac

There is some snow on Marion Peak and above cc 9.5k on San Jacinto. It has been raining on and off in Idyllwild since last night.

Sam,

Where was this photo taken? I'm assuming Angeles Crest Hwy is still shut tight?

It will be gone in a day or two, but still, nice to see.

I hiked up Sugarloaf this morning. Got great doses of rain all the way from Temecula and along the 38. Smushy snow flurries at 6500', snow on the ground at 8000' and constant pellet flurries on my hike. Beautiful day hiking in patchy clouds with small accumulation (maybe 1/2"). I was pretty jazzed about getting caught up in the first snow of the season!

There's no snow on San Gorgonio. Just a little rime ice on some of the small trees near the summit, but no snow on the ground.
