Superfortress

by WyomingSummits » Wed Jul 03, 2013 2:19 am

Looking for more info on an alpine bigwall climb in the Bighorn range called Superfortress. It's the SE buttress of Cloud Peak and is on a formation called the merlon. Goes at 13 pitches of 5.4-5.11b. A few bolts for cruxes and double bolts at belay/rap stations. To my knowledge it's only been done a handful of times. Anyone know what condition the bolts may be in as well as the anchor stations? I know odds are high that no one here has done it, but it never hurts to ask. Rumor has it Todd Skinner's friend Paul Piana was the FA.
