My guess is Friday 6/23, though the fact that they are stalled at Olmstead point due to avvy danger is decreasing my optimism about that date.

fedak, as of last week, the NPS crews were past Olmsted maybe a half mile, but were not yet to Tenaya Lake. From the east, Cal Trans is almost to the Park entrance. Posted some aerial photos on http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.php?topic_id=2973253&tn=80

Yup, watching the progress. They're past Tenaya now- near Lamb Dome.

Do you know if it's possible to drive to Saddlebag Lake road yet?

Yosemite national Park posted the following on Facebook 6/6:

Not long after this picture was taken, park road crews plowed their way to Tioga Pass! While this is exciting, we still have a lot of work to do to make the road safe for travel. There are still three active avalanche zones. We still have to plow parking lots, side roads, and portions of the road that are only plowed one lane wide. There is also a lot of debris to remove from the roadway and from ditches and culverts. Please be patient as our crews safely work to make the road safe for you. We'll open the road as soon as we can, but it's still going to be a little while (we don't have an estimate yet).
