We live on 5 acres (I wish it was 5,000!!!) of Ponderosa Pine forest and wildflowers on the Palmer Divide at about 7,600 feet / 2,300 meters above sea level.

Off the back deck looking at the Indian Peaks in winter.
See that red brick house, they sell the demon weed in there, you kids better stay away!

Then all the snow melts and the river gets swole & everything turns green.

And then the rez fills up for fishing and skinny dipping in Boulder city water...ha!
