All the big talk of Dr. Weiglein, his dubious "clean up Carstensz program", his contacts with the Governor of Papua and senior officials in Jakarta seems to have come to nought. Freeport foils plan to climb Cartensz (Puncak Jaya)

One wonders how his building of the shelter will now preceed? Keeping in mind Dr Weiglein will hold the single control of this shelter and who gets to stay there and at what costs?
