Hmmm... interesting. I've read a couple of the Mallory-Irvine books and I want to say that they all pretty much concluded by saying something like, "They probably didn't make it, but who knows?" Good luck to the expedition.

I don't get this "I hope they don't find the camera..."
If there are pictures of Mallory and Irvine up on that mountain, don't you think they would like us to see them?
And besides, Norgay and Hillary would still get the first successful ascent - they got down alive after all.
