Sad to hear of a young life lost but by such a noble act to trade his life for a friend.

Eduardo del Blanco Adán was a true friend and hero. In time, may his family find comfort and peace in his selfless act of friendship. He has brought a durable honor to the family name.

One certainly hopes Carlos Lorenzo gets professional psychiatric counseling and grief therapy to deal with the resultant survivor's guilt. May he have a long, happy treasured life to climb more mountains with a cherished memory of his friend and hermano.

I thought the writer was supposing what happened in the mountain but I've read the same in some Spanish pages... Finally hundreds of fellow citizens went to the dead mountaineer's funeral in Toledo, Spain:

Is there any article in English describing this?

The article pointed out by the first link only says that one climber descended the mountain in bad weather conditions and the other was found dead later.

Thanks
