There is a chance that an SP member and his fiance are among them. I wont say who it is but all I will say is that he is a very good friend of mine and a great climber. Please pray for him and his fiance. They just got engaged at Annapourna Base Camp two days ago.

The SP member and his fiance are probably OK if the news reports are right. It would take more than two days to get from the Annapurna Basecamp to the area where the avalanche deaths occurred. Anyway, I wish those involved, whether in the location of the avalanches, or friends and family the best, under such circumstances.

My friends are alive. They wrote to me and said that they are okay!! My prayers still go out to all the others that did not make it though.
