Oiarzabal is planning Nanga Parbat as I said before, so probably they they won't tie. Let see how he recover from his frostbites

Thanks Diego for a remarkably interesting and informative post. The expedition list is worth looking at and also the whole website

Diego:

Juanito is not going anywhere, at least that's what he said this last Saturday in Bilbao. His feet are all f***ed up and he gained 10 kilos! He didn't go for Aconcagua this season, as he was planning to, much less to the Rupal face in Nanga, the biggest alpine face in the world.

As far as I know Viesturs has done Cho Oyu 3 times, Everest 6 and the rest of the 8000'ers once. That's a grand total of 21 8000'ers.

That's false Duseks, Ed has climbed Cho Oyu twice, Everest 6 and the rest of the 8000ers once. That's a total of 2+6+12 = 20. More <a href=//www.mounteverest.net/story/ExWebSpecialEdViestursIstillhavepeaksthatIwanttoclimbMay122005.shtml><b><i>here</i></b></a>
