Climbing Mag reports on rock fall issues

Related mostly to Yosemite, but topic overall is rockfall study. Nice job. anyway, some awesome video on rock fall elsewhere. Just FYI

Pretty good article. Surprising to learn Yosemite had it's first geologist in 2008... they need to spend a little more money on scientists to do this research and less on rangers who accomplish nothing.

Also a sneaky way to throw in all the little adds for a food delivery service.

Yosemite geologists, with the help of climbers, are inching closer to answering the elusive question: "Why do rocks fall?"


Have these people not heard of something called gravity...

There is probably a gap between the geologists that end up doing drilling or mining work and those that end up in the NPS.
