Anyone had experience bringing food into Russia? I am flying into Moscow (from US) and then to Min Vody for an Elbrus climb. I'm planning to bring mostly commercially packaged food for the climb itself (dehydrated stuff). What kind of restrictions can I expect when entering the country? Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about the official rules and regulations, but I brought food into the country and no one seemed to care. I got one question about my electrolytes, as the white powder was packed in a plastic bag and probably looked very suspicous.
