I recently returned from a trip to the Alps. Nothing too difficult, but we had a successful trip from our perspective and would like to return someday.

Hi
I just had time to look at 2 of your video clips - Matterhorn & Mont Blanc - which have special significance to me. They are excellent and I enjoyed the music as well (I never go into the mountains without an iPod these days... ). You should consider putting in an actual trip report page and linking to the relevent mountain pages - that way lots more would get to enjoy your handiwork.

I climbed the Hornli on Sept 5th 1980, aged 19. None of our party of 4 were experienced & we were lucky to pull it off. But the day was a special one - for me since I was 3rd generation of my family to climb the Matterhorn.

I did Mont Blanc via 3 Monts in June 1990 - age 29. I was experienced by then and had the novel experience of guiding my then boss from work, who was very fit, but a novice - his first alpine peak(s)! We started from Gouter end and after MB summit camped near the summit of Maudit before going on over Tacul and finishing on the Midi.

Cheers, Mark

Thanks for your comments Mark. Good job on the Matterhorn and Blanc as well. I tried to add trip reports with just a link to my pages, but they quickly were deleted. Apparently that is not allowed on SummitPost. I'll have to put a little more time into adding trip report pages. Thanks for the recommendation.
