Scafell Pike - Time of year?

If you are not too experienced then I think everyone would reccomend a summer climb, due to generally better weather and visibility though the weather can quickly change. You may well still find snow up there in March

Posted: Sat Feb 08, 2014 3:46 pmScafel and Scafel Pike is a nice walk starting from Seathwaite Farm, it`s 11 miles long and the guide time is 7-10 hours. The elevation is 1,639 meters.
Summer months would be ideal to do this walk enjoy.
