The pictures are taken from the northern end of Czarny Staw lake, above the Murowaniec hut, so apperantly it was not very shy. There was at least 20-30 people eating lunch at the lake at the time.

I haven't seen them this grey before, but then again I have only seen US ones in daylight, so I haven't much to compare with.

Very nice shots. I wish I had seen one when I was in the area.

B.t.w. describe the person who said he had been so many times over 8000 meters. I'm curious who you met.
