It was already that wide before I posted my section... ( but I don't understand where's the problem )

There's no problem at all, they are just trying to find bad things about our page, to diminish our work

Then turn it to 1600x1200 and you will see it all

 Qué??? We're just trying to find sponsors to buy us new, larger screens!!! 8)
Well, I can do without one - mine can fit even the superwide latino NP's page

They could also be the reason...
what's the purpose of those? Looks better without?

Lolli is right: get rid of the "_" characters in the French table's titles. They are the reason why the table can't be shrunk thinner. Instead they (the titles) could be put in bold.

I add underscores (which you call lines) to center the title.... I take them off : let me know if it looks better.

Lolli : why not put your screen on 1600x1200 instead of 1024 ?

Well, I still see the underscores... If you want to center the titles, it's much better to use align=center in the td tag. For example:

Code: Select all
<td align=center>National Park</td>

will put the "National Park" text in the center of the cell under all circumstances.

Done !
Thank you so much ;o)

- How can I do avoid the text to touch the edge of the cell ?
- How can I write on two lines or more within a cell ?

Welcome! It will work well now on smaller screens as well, I think.

1) Set the cellpadding in the table tag to some value greater than 0

Code: Select all
<table ... cellpadding=5 ...>

2) You mean to force text inside a cell to be in two lines? For that you can use the <br> tag, but it won't be flexible - it will break the line where it is inserted.
