I'm still unable to upload pictures to this website. But I can highly recommend using Picasa. It works for me.

i have no trouble adding pics but i cant remember how to make a folder?????....I have added about 6 or 7 on the Elbrus page images if you want to look, should be the last ones added.....titled Elbrus 2009.

Elbrus is a no brainer, with a ton of resources out there...

Seems like only a few people do Dykh-Tau each year, which is primarily why I want to go, although looks pretty foreboding and information is scarce.

Shoot me an email if you think our paths will cross and we can figure out logistics... Maybe I can convince you to do one of these other mountains instead :twisted:


Dych-Tau and Koshtan are located in Bezengi area http://www.mountain.ru/bezengi/
Both are over 4 difficulty grade mountains - I guess climbers are spending 3 nights on the wall...
I've been around several times - you can get up to 4100mt without equipment quite easy
